CHAMPIONS COURT - VISITOR & CARER PROTOCOL      DOWNLOAD

Champions Court is a retirement complex. Please respect that some residents have mobility and other age-related issues.

Please observe the following:

1) The Visitor Car Park is situated at the top of the complex and is clearly signposted. Please leave the residents’ parking areas free if possible.

2) Please keep dogs on a lead and under close control in all areas.

3) Please note that visiting children should be accompanied by an adult throughout.

4) If you are asked to dispose of your resident’s rubbish, please familiarise yourselves with the disposal facilities, located in and around the waste store which is just to the left of the main door. Please sort as follows:

a. Recyclables – glass, aluminium, rigid plastics (NOTFLEXIBLES) should be placed in the large green wheeled recycling bins. There are two located just above the disabled ramp and one by the Visitor Car Park.
b. Food waste (bagged not loose) – place in one of the two grey bins located outside of the waste store.
c. Paper and cardboard should be placed in one of the green bins inside the waste store, at the rear.
d. Flexible Plastics (plastic bags, packaging film etc)should be taken to Tesco’s or alternative flexibles collection point. If not feasible, use the non-recyclable bins.
e. General, non-recyclable rubbish should be suitably bagged up and placed in one of the 22 grey bins marked “rubbish only”, located in the middle of the waste store.
f. For large items, please contact Stroud District Council to arrange collection and inform the Scheme Manager.
